Another Shaved Ice Truck to Debut

They say that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. If this is true, the Get Shaved truck should start blushing because another another Hawaiian-style shaved ice truck is about to hit the streets.

Tropical Shave Ice hopes to debut mid-May, serving Hawaiian-style shaved ice and other local snacks. No word yet on flavors or an official menu.

The owners of Tropical Shave Ice emailed me, noting that one of my Yelp reviews mentioned that I'm from Hawaii. I don't know how I feel about them trolling for Get Shaved's customers on Yelp, but I'll reserve judgment until I try their shaved ice. Hope they bring their A-game for us picky Hawaiians.
